Americans remain resistant to the lure of EVs, which are still unaffordable

How bizarre. We still have places here, mostly stores and restaurants, where charging is free for customers. Solar powered, so it’s not costing them much, but still. We saw some commercial charging stations when we were in Switzerland, but we ended up recharging at our hotels. Most of them have low-power chargers for free or included with the parking fee, but we were on vacay so didn’t pay any attention to what they cost. I wonder if progress will flip the paradigm-- mostly battery with a small amount of gas hybrid, the reverse of what it is now?
