Well, by “here,” I meant in the United States. That’s a federal law.
Ah, my legal ignorance shows itself again! Bad legal ignorance, back in your cage!
Again, thank you.
The Voter Motor bill was passed right before I got my drivers license and so when I did, it was able to register at the DMV!
Easy peasy!
No, you’re fine. You know a million times more about medicine than I do or ever will. And I probably only know a little bit more about the law than you do. I mean, I haven’t even started practicing yet. I literally know just enough to be dangerous.
Nah, I am poster child for “knows a lot about a little and nothing at all about most.” And learning never stops, man. I’ve been in the gig for 30-odd years, and still learning.
When I moved to NJ, not only was I able to register to vote at the DMV when I got my license, I was able to opt in to voting by mail, and they just started sending me ballots for every election. We really can make this much easier for everyone without affecting the integrity of our elections.
We need more dangerous women practicing law, tho, so…
Yes, indeedy! If we can get out of this mess we’re in, and reorient ourselves, this should be one of the very first things we change about our system.
A truly wise man (person) knows that they know nothing.
Of course, if you’re trans, you may not be able to get these. Or a passport. And if you’re accused of being trans, you may have to provide the validity of these.
Yes, as a trans woman, I am well aware.
