Hopefully no Presidential pardons coming for the Menendez couple, but Trump did already pardon Rod Blagojevich so it’s not unlikely that he’ll take pity on these crooks as well.

My son had an event with Durbin late last year, as he was working as a volunteer on some local political hopeful. Said he looked so old he had to stop and quickly check his age.
He’s not Feinsteined, but he’s not far off.

He’s on my tv now. He certainly doesn’t sound like he’s mentally impaired. Sure, he’s old. But age alone doesn’t mean someone’s unfit for the job.
It sounds like he made a reasonable decision about leaving while he’s still is fit. Though I hate him for joining with Schumer on that budget vote.

Seven years is actually a pretty decently long sentence considering that he had made a plea deal. Here’s hoping that he actually serves the majority of that time and that there are no pardons or commutations coming.
