N.B.: The last vacuum mom bought was a bissell. It was sposedly specifically designed to pick up pet hair, but proved a major disappointment from the first use. I had to repeatedly go over only lightly en-fur’d surfaces with it, and it was next to useless on very hairy spots. Total waste of $$$.
