I just watched that the other night. I hadn’t seen it since the cinema when it came out.
God it’s depressing how on the money it was. Only thing was that it didn’t take the human race obviously dying out to turn us into a dystopia with immigrants in cages.
(Also I thought the film had a bit of a nod to Amin Maalouf’s last days of berenice which was obviously an, uh, inspiration for PD James’s novel when they talked about the group of wise, of sages meeting for project humanity.)
