This makes perfect sense. I’d go so far to assume that all transformers are identifying their gender based on non-genetic characteristics, what with presumably having no genetics to speak of. I welcome our large, robotic, trans transformer overbeings!

I saw that, looking for corroboration, but it is the same image again. The caption says there is a claim of beaming an image, as if no one actually witnessed it.
Two left-wing political activist groups have claimed to have beamed an image of Elon Musk’s salute onto Tesla’s Gigafactory in Berlin.

As for why doesn’t match is because the Tesla logo is lighted so is emmiting light, while the heil and musk photo are projected so is reflected light.
They are probably an order of magnitude less powerful, even though the projector was probably quite powerful to get such a good effect.
