Initially my thinking about Musk was, “Well, it’s unfair to assume he’s pro-apartheid, just because he’s a white South African,” which turned into, “Well, it’s unfair to assume Elon’s pro-apartheid, just because his family was pro-apartheid,” and now it’s “Wow, that dude couldn’t be any more obviously pro-apartheid.”
Yeah, I normally don’t like to hope for the downfall of companies just because of a shitty owner/CEO, because of all the other people involved, but Tesla needs to be a fucking crater at this point. (And Elno needs to be at the bottom of that hole.)

They’re adults under the law. Privileged adults who went or are going to elite schools and have started businesses and/or have connections to the most powerful guy in the world, Musk.
Some poor schmucks from deprived backgrounds who sold drugs could go to jail for the rest of their lives.
So fuck their being tender youths. They should know what they’re doing and how many they’re harming. It was covered in classes and if not rtfm.

They don’t necessarily. In my trade (which happens to be the same as those MFs) we say juniors are more dangerous than seniors because they sometimes don’t realize there’s a fine line between “it can’t be done” and “it shouldn’t be done”.
I usually explain to my juniors how I cost a client 600$ to fix something that should not need to be fixed (not for that price), because I did not stop to think if it should be fixed. Suffice to say, nobody was happy with my creative and brilliant solution.
For us in the trade is no wonder His Royal Muskyness chose young educated assholes. Because any senior would refuse to do it.
Also note that this is no excuse. Young people make mistakes, they should be accountable for them too. That is part of the process of learning. But usually their seniors should be there to limit what harm can be done, and that is on Space Karen’s shoulders.
