Sorry, I’m too busy boggling at the idea of someone thinking it’s a good idea to be using generative AI to rebuild the SSA’s codebase in a few months (without understanding how it works now, even). It’s like they’re completely devoted to the mission of innovating exciting new ways to be total fucking morons and incompetent assholes.
(/puts head in hands) Just reading about the shenanigans behind the purchase of Twitter, it made me realize that the finance bros involved are also total fucking idiots, given how their every action related to this has been guaranteed to lose them stupefying amounts of money, and they’re apparently doubling down on the idiocy. (Although it also rather suggests that if you climb up the hierarchy of rich white men, you eventually enter into the society of people who don’t care that they’re losing their financial institutions monstrous quantities of money, because doing favors for one of their own is more important.)

But those jobs would not be good jobs. No we don’t like jobs like that. No… better to have no jobs than those jobs. After all just 10 more years and ALL these manufacturing jobs will come back. But for that to happen we have to cut taxes! Oh, and end child labor laws.
