I have been waiting for this bromance to collapse since it started, and it is a viscerally thrilling experience to see it happening now. It fills me with a savage joy, thinking they might damage one another in a meaningful way. It’s like the moment where I realized the Alien and the Predator shared a universe and it became clear they’d do battle, except instead of perfectly evolved killing machines, the two principles are a spoiled kindergarten-level bully and an insecure internet tough guy. Wait…each of them are both of those things.
