The NHTSA is already investigating these things for violating traffic laws but given the state of things I don’t expect any kind of actual enforcement actions to result from this unless Musk and Trump have another spat.

the riders request an early drop off, which prompts the Robotaxi to come to a complete stop in the middle of a four-way intersection and has everyone exit the vehicle.
This is such an incredibly basic thing for a taxi service to do right. If it can’t even handle that, it speaks volumes about how broken and untested every other aspect must be.

As someone who commuted daily by taxi in Toronto for more than a year, I can attest that this behaviour is not limited to gig companies 
However, the major difference is a human usually may decide to be an asshat to other motorists but at least can try to make sure their passengers are safe, not, you know, dropped off in the middle of a damn intersection!
