The researchers checked for potentially dangerous air particles, known as PM 2.5, that measure roughly 2.5 micrometers or less in width — about 30 times smaller than a human hair. At the charging stations, daily concentrations ranged from 7.3 to 39.0 micrograms per cubic meter, while the same analysis at the urban sites without fast-charging stations found concentrations of only 3.6 to 12.4 micrograms per cubic meter.
Weird.
Elon cheaping out on the tires?
ETA:
I suspect the comment about “not wanting his brand to be an object of conspicuous consumption for a wealthy Black man” is probably on point. White supremacist above all.
To a certain extent, electric vehicles do help with air pollution-- although the source must be taken into account. But if the chargers give off the same amount of particulates–due to engineering oversights, then whoever designed the chargers must receive some blame.
That’s really going to encourage people to “buy” Teslas.
But your sales are going so well who cares? Right Elno?
It appears to be.
Also, in probably unrelated news, Grok is seeing stereotypes of “hook-nosed Jews” in photos of random clouds now:
(That would have been a good reason to suspend the account but I doubt that’s why they did it.)
So Tesla is claiming that the bricked Cybertruck video is faked, and apparently there’s some evidence supporting that. Take that as you will.
I certainly believed it to be real at first. And whether or not this specific instance is real we certainly know from other examples that Musk is more than capable of being this petty and vindictive.
I guess the lesson probably is don’t trust anyone associated with Cybertrucks, whether that’s the manufacturer or owners.
I’m immensely reasured by the fact that Grok stil has “the greatest enthusiasm for the mission”, though.
This could go in at least five different threads, but I’ll just leave it here:
“Will you sign an affidavit that you have never directed changes to the X algorithm in a way that has hurt your competitors or helped your own companies? i will apologize if so.”
To be fair, though, Musk has also made many more changes to X to hurt his own companies.
Musk later retaliated. “Scam Altman lies as easily as he breathes,” the billionaire posted, re-sharing a post from another user that had pointed out allegations that Altman was a liar.
Haha Sounds exactly like Dump.
There must be a monetary theory similar to law of diminishing returns, but with respect to the acquisition of wealth in relation to the thickness of one’s skin. No shits given until you reach a certain level of billionaire and then you become a whiny little child.
Amazing how he can simultaneously be the richest man in the world and the world’s biggest failure. His dedication to incompetence is surprising.
