Had you seen IncEl Camino ?
Man, Elno as “Rocket Quico” is my new favorite meme.
I was behind one of them Cyberthings last night and I learned something absurd. The brake lights basically don’t make sense:
(Video from user “omg_tesla” at the former bird site; not linking)
Not only does the illuminated part of the light bar get smaller when the brake is applied, it also seems, from what I could observe, that the brake light only illuminates when the vehicle is actually decelerating; whenever the thing came to a complete stop the light bar illuminated fully again.
At least the corner lights illuminate when the brake is applied, but those are also shared with the turn signals, which is its own set of problems (if common in the US).
Yeah, I also thought of the same video myself, because the brake lights were not coming on as frequently as I expected by any means. I suspect that the Tesla has the same silly one-pedal driving logic as the Ioniq – I suspect the brake light only turns on when the actual brake is being applied, because it seemed like this one was decelerating frequently without any brake light showing execpt when it was nearing a full stop.
A fourth person joked: “I’m not sure, considering the fairly obvious undertones of what the military represents in this film, that this is the statement he thinks it is.”
Yeah … “joked”.
His 80-hour work weeks don’t allow him enough time to at least see this.
Edited to add the reason I thought of this — they describe that creature as “Every conservative’s worst nightmare, a vagina that can think.”
He doesn’t realize that Judge Dredd is dystopian satire either, because he just wrote that Matt Gaetz is “the Judge Dredd America needs to clean up a corrupt system and put powerful bad actors in prison.”
It’s amazing how consistently tech bro conservatives are able to miss the point of the sci-fi franchises they revere so much. It’s always the damn Torment Nexus for these guys.
