Too much of a contamination risk.
The Musk Schmear works for me.
The muskhole doesn’t spark joy?
What would spark joy is him being erased from history…
Fair enough…
I mean, if it sparks joy for others, god bless! Not me, though.
Ahaha yeah I call bullshit.
The under-16 Social Media Ban is one of the most misguided, knee-jerk, badly-thought out, rushed pieces of half-baked “seen to be doing something” “what do you mean obvious unintended consequences?” legislation I have ever seen in this country, and that includes from Scott Morrisson’s tenure as PM.
Musk is calling it for what it is (correctly) for the wrong reasons. (We all know his opinion on censorship, after all.)
And Albanese is using Musk’s chiming in, in a logical non-sequitur to damn all opposition to this bill (which was demanded almost exclusively by people who are very honestly upset (but don’t know what they’re talking about), and the Murdoch Media in a deliberate and concerted outrage campaign). It’s the rhetorical equivalent of “this bill is to protect children, therefore anyone who is against this bill support paedophiles”, or “You know who else was a vegetarian? Hitler.”
Lone Skum is now reported to be planning to interfere in UK politics by giving Nigel Farage’s Reform party $100m as a ‘fuck you’ to Keir Starmer.
ETA Truly, liberal democracy is doomed if this sort of activity continues. Stop all political party donations below a very low sum and only to be from private individuals, and fund political parties from state revenues.
I guess there’s really no such thing as a working class billionaire willing to give money to the good (or less bad) guys.
(I offer the link below merely as a temporary distraction from the depressing timeline we are in.)
I know a guy…
He didn’t switch it to hay mode.
[…] the way Tesla designed the truck, debris can easily enter below the bed and remain trapped in there unless you disassemble the bed and clean underneath.
In other words, perfect for negotiating any post-apocalyptic terrain.
In other words, yet another way that the Cybertruck fundamentally fails at truck stuff.
Twisted amalgamation of every child to perish in Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory.
Very well put.
I have a 20+ year old Honda CRV that does better truck stuff, never gets stuck, and does fine in the cold. I’m not in Canada, so it’s not that cold, but for my investment of $15,000, I’m well pleased.
The only thing I wish were different about my CR V were if it could tow a little bit. The RAV4 can tow 3,500 non metric units & I dream of getting a little egg trailer.
But I don’t have one - so it’s still perfect
When I had a car in Minnesota, I had a Fiat 500. It got stuck once parked beside a curb. A guy walking by casually gave it a push and off it went. Try THAT with a Cybertruck!
