Iām an Old Lady. I can bitch about whatever I want, in whichever way I choose.
A few years ago, a girl at a bar ordered me to stop calling the rethugs ārethuglic**tsā after Iād used the term once, and I got mad. I told her to fuck off, and b/c Iām an Old Lady, I refuse to take orders from anyone, least of all a kid, and can call them whatever I choose.
D, knowing how much Iād been bullied and pushed around, by folks who were older than I and my so-called peers for most of my life, was proud of me.
Granted, that was outside a bar, and bars donāt come with the types of TOS nor āterms of behaviorā like BBSeses & forums do. Iād never knowingly offend anyone here.

Another time, a kid told me to fuck off b/c I said I dislike pastel pink! I told her she could fuck off, that Iām allowed to dislike anything I choose, esp after being on the planet this long. She was actually shocked. I guess no one had ever pushed back against any of her bratty pronouncements.

I care. I just refuse to look. I refuse to click. I care but because I care I donāt look. Iām done with looking. The only thing that scares me is that if there is/was an emergency I guess I might not know for longer but thatās ok. Iām ok with that now. I figure if by depriving the beasts of a few seconds of my gaze I am in some way protecting myself from a poison, then that is worthwhile. And while I know it wonāt matter to the social media empires I am at least not rewarding the cruelty.
