It’s a short article, but since some still won’t make it to the last sentence, it does seem worth repeating:
Until then, check out these quick changes that stop Windows 11 from spamming you with ads.
I suppose it’s a good thing i accidentally upgraded to Win 11 when my SSD took a dive some months ago. I’ve talked about it before but one can disable and enable stuff to get it working close to Win 10 (i haven’t had to deal with any AI or ad nonsense), but my biggest gripe is that the way the start menu works is annoyingly different and less functional, and there are no ways to change it besides using 3rd party tools.
My only use of the start menu is win key → type name of app. They haven’t seemed to degrade that bit of it.
Bing is the Cybertruck of search engines.
Done. Thanks!
I use fire.ca.gov and it’s bookmarked on both my phone and my work computer. Even if it’s a local (city or county) fire, the state website keeps it pretty well updated.
Other users mention watchduty.org, but you have to use their app and I hate using apps. They also get their data from fire.ca.gov.
Jeebus, they’re just begging to get Luigi’d, ain’t they?
Amazing that this is where we are now.
I am not complaining about the phrase at all.
Fuckin’ hell, bring on the guillotines.
TIL Luigi is a verb.
It is now!
