Much the same as Trump; he presented himself as a man of the people, and someone who’d have a beer (or smoke crack) with you. Rob actually would, but like Trump he was also a child of wealth, although not on Trump’s scale. He would tell the gullible what they wanted to hear; no tax increases and all the problems are the fault of the lefties.
Unreal. Just the opposite of what happens to Black victims who are criminalized to justify the crime, here we are hero-izing a terrorist to make him look more sympathetic. I hate this soooo much!

I think he also had a “support the suburbs, fuck the city” attitude that won votes from commuters who didn’t care about the city they lived near.
