Yeah, that’s pretty much what I was assuming. I’m surprised GoG hasn’t popped up with a free game for this sale, they usually do.

Are these the Epic Store games? I looked earlier today, saw 6 hours, then just checked back, saw the number of hours hadn’t changed, and realized it’s 6 days away :crying_cat_face:

There are good reasons for keeping this topic to actually free games, I have been in financial situations where 99% off was still more expensive than I could afford after rent and utilities.

Yeah, I’ve been there too. But I’ve also been in the situation where less than 5 bucks is doable, though much more wouldn’t be.

I’d thought about potting it in the Get Your Game On thread but also thought some budget minded folks might miss it there. Maybe I should have.

GOG is giving away Metro 2033 right now… and their website is suffering under the crushing weight.

Giveaway is good for 48 hours (starting not long ago) so if you wait a few hours for things to stabilize you won’t miss it.

Looks like their login server is hosed, it doesn’t always see me logged in. I wonder if new registrations are what’s crushing it.

Search is also wonky. I wanted to check if there were acouple of cheap old games to pad my account (they have Deus Ex for ~2$) and well, it sometimes works :smiley:
