The law came in response to failures from Congress to pass gun control.

âAmerica would not exist without the heroism of the young adults who fought and died in our revolutionary army,â Judge Ryan Nelson wrote in the 100-page ruling from the San Francisco-based 9th US Circuit Court of Appeals, overturning the law. âToday we reaffirm that our Constitution still protects the right that enabled their sacrifice: the right of young adults to keep and bear arms.â
Iâm amazed he didnât cite Kyle Rittenhouse.
sounds like:
âthe right of young white men to drive hours to shoot and kill dark peopleâ
Pretty sure the âage of majorityâ was 21 in 1776
Same as it ever was.
It disturbs me so much reading all of the religious rhetoric from the government on this.>
Gov. Kathy Hochul called the gunman a âwhite supremacistâ who terrorized New Yorkâs second-largest city in a âcold-hearted,â âmilitary-style executionâ as people were buying groceries.
âIt strikes us in our very hearts to know that thereâs such evil that lurks out there,â she said. "This individual â this white supremacist â who just perpetrated a hate crime on an innocent community, will spend the rest of his days behind bars. And heaven help him in the next world as well."

President Joe Biden was briefed on the attack and was praying for those affected, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said in a statement.
Why are they talking like this? Donât need the President to pray. I need him to do his damn job and protect innocent citizens from extremists.
seven hours laterâŚ
As I saw in a comment on FB, which Iâm gonna paraphraseâŚTexas will take care of 'em while theyâre in the womb, but after that theyâre FUCKED.
To me, this is when the shit started hitting the fan in the streetsâŚ
Do they not secure school buildings in Texas? A the school where my sister works, in California, you need to be buzzed in to get into the office / reception. There are more locked doors before you get to the regular offices, or the area where any kids might be.
Itâs the same elementary school we all went to, and back then, they didnât even close the gates during the day. Todayâs kids are growing up in a fascist hellscape, and the fascists are filled with puffery and indignation, while the rest of us just donât like seeing kids die all the time and are criticized for it.
