What the actual fuck is he talking about? That is just legalized racism! (As intended, of course. Can’t let the Black and brown vermin be comfortable in public around respectable white folk!) I really, really wish I was kidding.

And btw, I’m so sick of ICE telling the media that people who question them are “assaulting” them. I’m also sick of the media accepting the lies spouted out by ICE. :rage:

ICE: “Assaults on ICE officers has increased 8000%!”
The actual “assaults”:

An ICE agent accused the [71 year old] woman of pushing her. [which doesn’t show up on video…]

(It’s all very minor in the scope of ICE transgressions, but it’s funny to see an ICE agent potentially facing seven years for assaulting police. Maybe they’ll deport him without trial somewhere…)

They will realease vídeo footage of this vícious attack pretty soon…

They define assault as someone asking who they are. :man_shrugging:

Very much seems like they held everyone in the area at gunpoint, for hours, until they deleted any photos or video they might have because it presumably showed the death and ICE desperately wanted to hide their role in it…

ICE is just generally rampaging and kidnapping witnesses:

Fake ICE agents are escalating their crimes:

Oh the fucking bullshit in the article, though, where they provide “helpful” tips to protect yourself from criminals impersonating ICE agents (but not the criminals who are ICE agents) because ICE have made it impossible to distinguish the two:

  • Turn your flashers on and try to stop in a well-lit area or a location where there are a lot of people present. A legitimate officer will understand if you continue until you find a well-lit area to pull over.

The number of people who are arrested (or even have their cars rammed and flipped) because cops got pissed that they were made to wait for people to pull over. Cops absolutely don’t “understand” that with any reliability. So you could get yourself killed by an actual cop for doing that, but also it also won’t stop fake cops from robbing you if they’re masked ICE impersonators.

  • Look for a uniform, official department jacket, other equipment used by police officers and/or a marked police vehicle.

Yeah, real helpful when ICE famously have none of those things. ICE are wearing street clothes and the same gear that fake ICE agents are buying off the internet, probably from the same stores.

  • If the officer is in plainclothes, look for identifying clothing and equipment. If unsure, explain to the “officer” that you are unsure about the situation and ask them to display their official department identification and badge.

Oh FFS, are they taking the piss? Again, not things that real ICE agents do.

  • Pay attention to what they are asking. Most officers will advise you of the reason for the stop and request your driver’s license, registration and proof of insurance.

Again, we’re talking about ICE, who are not fucking doing those things.

If they immediately tell you to get out of the car without any preliminary questions, be suspicious.

We’ve got stories of ICE agents popping out of nowhere, bashing in windows and pulling people out of cars, not to mention demanding people get out of their cars.In other words, be suspicious of real ICE agents. (Good advice, finally. But not exactly helpful.)

  • Trust your instincts. Call 911 if you have any doubts and stay on the line as you drive to your closest police station.

And if they are ICE agents, the cops will arrest you for doing this, based on recent reports.

They’re used to fire various less-lethal-than-regular-bullets rounds.

The term they’re groping towards is “concentration camps”. Everyone knows it.
