It really is a weird idea.
Reminds me of people who have their deceased pets stuffed. Fine I guess if someone finds comfort in that, but it strikes me as ghoulish.

For sure, it’s not for me. No lifeless doggos in this house, I like them smiling and wagging tails, ever hopeful for snacks.

I think what they need is a shadow added to the rug.
Some of the pictures on the artist’s site are “worse” than these, especially the stacked ones. Having said that, I do admire the skill in creating them (have a look at her other work too).
