I saw this video just before ordering my âreal hurdyâ and I found it very informative. He does a very good job explaining the parts, specially the dog (the floating hammer). His hurdy is also a beauty 
The mandelâs simpho-gurdy is also nice but I always found it a âquiero y no puedoâ (is neither a real period instrument -because the extra size, strings and dog- nor a good hurdy - because the square box-) so never found it appealing.

Today I remembered this song existed and of course, needed to share it with you. Was lucky to see Huun Huur Tu live last year and basically is an experience I completely recommend.
