Taylor Swift definitely had a privileged upbringing which absolutely gave her a head start, but I feel like this meme is seriously minimizing her actual talent, which is considerable. There are a lot of rich kids whose parents try to use their wealth and privilege to turn those kids into music stars and fail (see Kellyanne Conway’s daughter and Candace Cameron Bure’s daughter, for example).
