Love in the Time of COVID-19

I saw that. Holy shit… Kill as many people as you want, you will not be held responsible! (As long as you are a billionaire)

Senate Republicans on Wednesday passed legislation that would enable patients to force hospitals into administering drugs for off-label use if the hospital’s own physicians refuse.

The bill is not specifically about ivermectin. So, one could insist on testosterone for chronic hay fever?

There’s one exception I’m really surprised is in there.

Needle-Free: New Nano-Vaccine Effective Against All COVID-19 Variants

That is exceptionally exciting if it pans out! Will wait for further data to pop the champagne, but that is really intriguing.

Cool!

For others who don’t click through:

Unlike other vaccines, it is conveniently administered as a nasal spray and does not require a cold supply chain or ultra-cold storage. These distinctive features pave the way for vaccinating populations in developing countries and the future development of simpler, more effective, and less expensive vaccines.

That’s great news! I hadn’t checked here for updates on pan-vaccines in a while, but I’m hoping more good results will be coming soon:

As my PCP pointed out recently when I asked if there were any upcoming vaccinations I should get sooner rather than later thanks to Trump, RFK Jr, etc., they probably can’t take away vaccines that are already in existence, but they can cut government funding for new vaccine research, which will take longer than 4 years to come back from.

Yeah, but there’s new ones every year for flu and covid.

They can take them away. FDA can revoke approval, not like they haven’t take drugs off the market before.

Can we include bird flu stuff in here too?

The USDA recently announced plans to test milk for bird flu. Amy Maxmen , PhD, public health correspondent and editor at KFF Health News, explains why this is necessary, and what officials know about the spread of the virus and what the U.S. is doing to prevent another pandemic scenario.

My wife and daughter met up yesterday for some in person Christmas shopping.

Or as I call it send my anxiety through the roof day.

But, she said stores were not crowded and some were empty.

The surprising thing was she said in the Walmart, in our stupidly red county, close to half the shoppers and employees were wearing masks.

So, yay.

On the other hand, my stage 4 lung cancer friend was going to a crowded restaurant for a Christmas party mask free.

So, boo.

Check this out. She said yesterday that she firmly believes vaccines cause autism, she refused to take an mRNA vaccine but she’s all for Russia’s mRNA vaccine.

Soooo, Russia good, and AI good, but Pfizer and Moderna bad, or something?

Hmm, I read that post differently. I think she’s talking about two different things in one post…

It reads to me that she first says she’s not sure about Russia’s mRNA vaccine for cancer (“will wait and see”) because she’s not sure about ANY vaccine. And then she pivots to say that what DOES impress her is a treatment called Fenbendazole—which looks to be some kind of veterinary anti-parasite medication.

Either way, still kooky.

Holy crap.

Abraham is the Surgeon General of Louisiana.

“I see, now, vaccine injury every day of my practice” from COVID vaccines, Abraham said.

Abraham masking, lockdowns and vaccination requirements “were practically ineffective,” that COVID vaccine adverse effects have been “suppressed,” that “we don’t know” whether blood from people who’ve been vaccinated is safe for donation and that “we hope and pray” COVID vaccines don’t increase the risk miscarriages.

Surgeon General Abraham also said “there’s nothing wrong” with Louisiana conducting its own research into whether childhood vaccines cause autism.

“You could probably fill Tiger Stadium with moms who have kids that were normal one day, got a vaccine and were then autistic after,” said Deputy Surgeon General Coleman at that meeting.
