Looking at what I see daily on the Autobahn, you can actually tow quite large and heavy loads with a car. As in four door family saloon or hatchback. But noo, real men need huge trucks for that.

The Glenn Martin Museum is “just” 45 miles from my home (tho that could take an hour or 2 to drive). I keep meaning to get up there to see the static displays (& for that matter, to the Dover AFB Museum further along). I wish the Martin Museum was getting this plane, since that’s likely where that model was built, but I’m glad the last 2 are going to museums at all. (I don’t think any of the Clippers - Boeing, Martin, or Sikorsky - were preserved.)
