Olds go nostalgic for the good old days of tech

Gaming mags from the eighties were so much fun.

Edit: Page two is an add for Crush, Crumble, Chomp. I played that so much.

The mail room guy at work still says “Dude! You’re getting a Dell.” Nearly Everytime I get a new system in. Which is often.

Does he give you a double thumbs up? Without that, it’s meaningless.

I remember when Steve the Dell Dude got busted for pot possession.

Before that, I assumed pot was a Gateway drug.

I don’t even have to play that video. That recording is permanently implanted in my mind.

Billy Murray was quite a recording star in the acoustic era.

Well, Mr. Olds did have a lot to do with the good old days of tech…

And my given name is Lucy, not Lucille, FYI. :sunglasses:

Yeah, my dad always told me I was named after her 'cos I was a “fussbudget”. Also, Lucy represented - after they all got rounder, less oval heads - Schulz’s first wife. In fact, a lot of stuff that was going on in Sparky’s head and in his life came out in the strip. Read, “Schulz and Peanuts: A Biography”, by David Michaelis for the full story - it’s a great read!

Not right this minute; it said “Rose Quartz” on the box, so put that over bleached-blonde with dark-brown roots…
