Our Felonious Ex-President

Amy Coney Barrett ruled that the county responsible for the prison could not be held liable because the sexual assaults fell outside of the guard’s official duties.

That’s really amazing.

Good news on this suit.

It’s something. Depressing is one word that comes to Mind. A weird distortion of logic is another.

On Wednesday night’s show, Tucker Carlson reported that his team had acquired incriminating documents. However, they sent them from Washington to Los Angeles, and the documents disappeared. And they neglected to make any copies. So now the only copy of the documents that would nail the probable next president of the United States are gone

Also, a dog ate his homework.

This seems too stupid even for Tucker’s fans to accept.

But, he says the shipper “combed the entire, cavernous sorting facility”! Surely that’s legitimate!

I guess it was so important that he see this super-secret, highly-incriminating evidence that the producer couldn’t possibly have spent the time to make a copy. Or scan it and send it over the internet rather than shipping the original copies. That would have taken far too long.

Could it be . . . ? No, that’s not possible. I had this ridiculous thought that, maybe, just maybe, the document doesn’t exist.

Clearly, I’m just being altogether too cynical today.

There’s precedent:

“given Mr. Carlson’s reputation, any reasonable viewer ‘arrive[s] with an appropriate amount of skepticism’ about the statements he makes.”

“This ‘general tenor’ of the show should then inform a viewer that he is not ‘stating actual facts’ about the topics he discusses and is instead engaging in ‘exaggeration’ and ‘non-literal commentary,’”

– US District Judge Mary Kay Vyskocil

This ignores the fact that the original data was on a laptop, so electronically available, forever. At least two people, along with the FBI, are supposed to have a copy of the hard drive.

So Tucker would have us believe that “they” printed the emails out, shipped them, then lost them, and nobody has Ghouliani’s phone number to ask for another copy?

Sure, Jan.

All Tucker says is:

“[…] we received a - from a source - a collection of confidential documents related to the Biden family. We believe those documents are authentic - they’re real - and they’re damning.”

These supposed documents, that somehow vanished out of the shipped envelope to the bafflement of everyone without even the slightest effort taken to safeguard them, may or may not be allegedly at all related to the laptop or laptops that Hunter supposedly dropped off and are with the FBI. He’s rather vague considering how certain he seems to be that they were “damning” evidence.

Just more proof that the Post Office is conspiring againdst Trump and needs to be shut down, until all postal ballots can be destroyed, to secure a fair and balanced election. /s
