Probably not immortal, but he was certainly a rather constructive general and Secretary. The Marshall plan is likely something that would not fly today.
Of two different departments: Defense and State. And maybe folks who grew up in Germany after WWII would think he should be considered immortal? At least a demi, lol.
The worst thing I ever read about him was him not speaking to Clark Clifford any more over a policy matter, I believe; I’d have to look up what it was about, but I think it had to do most with Clifford being a legal adviser and not a member of the Cabinet and Marshall perceiving him as overstepping his boundaries. So he wasn’t exactly flexible, but he had integrity; and he was loyal to Truman, which Harry really needed, what with all that crap going on with Dugout Doug.
Something sorely lacking in many modern politicians, it seems!
Socialism.
Not directly related to The Former Guy, but definitely contradicts his narrative.

This timeline stinks.
An oldie but a goodie:
Disabling autoplay does not disable autoplay on that site.
Flashy Vanity Fair type ads and a soundless auto-play video on the right.
Living a border state, this kind of scares me. I can’t afford an enhanced driver’s license, though I could try to save up for one, as mine expires this November.
