I don’t know if I mentioned this before, but it’s relevant to that cartoon, so here we go.
Back before the 2016 election, I hung out on a video chat site a lot. And one of my friends there was a Mexican guy. His family had immigrated and moved to the U.S. And he was super-excited about Trump getting elected and building the wall to keep Mexicans out.
And I just could not understand that, so he explained it to me as clearly as “we came here to get away from people there, we don’t want them moving in next door.” That did make sense.
I hope he’s doing well, and hasn’t been deported yet. But I suspect if not he’ll soon learn what he voted for.
Perfect.

Shouldn’t there be a Quarter Pounder on Hitler’s plate?
Or a hamberder.
Nein. He was a vegetarian.
Ah right. Those are tofu bones.
He claimed to be a vegetarian to prove how pure he was, but actually had a lot of animal products in his diet.
First American? Exhibit A of why more history needs to be taught.
First Trump, yah.
At the very least,
I suspect there are Native American detainment camps that predate this as well.
Ones they had to ‘walk’ to, no less.
I thought of (offshore) Guantanamo.
