I always (and I am not alone) look for how Trumpâs hands are depicted in political cartoons. Tells me something about the cartoonist. Re Trump, itâs my benchmark.
Iâm not sure if anyone on the right side of âThe Pondâ is aware of how cartoonists on this side troll Trump by alluding to his small penis, and that by showing him with small hands. Spitting Image continues to show him with normal size hands. Thatâs wrong. Thatâs very wrong. Someone should have a talk with them.
True, although I think Jouquette makes up for that by the needle-sharp political comment in the word balloon. I like both cartoons. One delivers a very clear political message, while the other illustrates his ugly vulgar character⌠externally and otherwise.
Good point. Perhaps we need two (or more) scales.
If this was a war (and it kind of is) then Iâd say the two cartoons above present two fronts in the fight. One is intended to make voters think, and the other disrespects Trump in ways that Trump (being intellectually stunted and thin-skinned) would find much more troublesome, something that, for me, is the sophomoric joy-giving cherry on top of Jouquetteâs style. Whatâs a meal without dessert.
Oh, over here we are well aware of the small hands thing.

I was fooled only by Jouquetteâs so extremely tiny depictions of his hands, mayhap Iâll pay even closer attention in future.
Iâd say we ALL have to remain vigilant since the race to the âsmallestâ continues.
Anything smaller may require that the cartoonist include a magnified insert.
