Put-Our-Rich-Criminals-in-Check Global Emporium

The whole idea of doing this is disgusting. Like you said, those in power hate the free flow of information.

pretty much.

The guy was pissed that taxes he was paying were allowing the free flow of info.

Guy didn’t care, he just can’t stand allowing people to have access to info

But, like what even is the point of being rich unless you can make poor people suffer for funsies?!?

The fundamental thing I don’t get is that the wealthy elite literally never learn. Instead of letting go of any wealth or influence at all, they’re like “I’ll survive the uprising this time because I have a multi-million dollar bunker!”

An adaptation of anti-union arguments to use against investors one doesn’t like.

And they’re always so convinced they can buy people’s loyalty and services. Which if things really hit the fan, will not be true.

And they’re always going to need people. Even robots need servicing.

When the shit really hits the fan, we will have to resort to a barter system. In that case, anything the rich have to offer will be useless. They do not labor, they don’t have any special skills that the non-rich lack, and their little trinkets and precious metals will have no value. Most importantly, they have spent their entire careers working against community, not for and with it. They will be worse than useless, they will be counterproductive. Even if they didn’t retreat into their bunkers until the rabble had long since stopped caring about them, they would be forcibly exiled.

In socialist Japan, robot services you

Count how many things are wrong with today’s state propaganda broadcast

The bit about the housing market America’s utterly broken shelter system starts at 8:56.

Next after that we hear how we can all get rich creating sweatshops in our parents’ living rooms.

From history, I doubt that. They’ll have value for the people that take them from the rich.

Because comedy is insufficient to battle “ineffective” people in power, it’s clearly a failure.

People wonder why journalism isn’t as honest and complete about the powerful as it could be

Pants labels don’t cause migraines, vomiting, or seizures yet.

The local bicycle shop near me offers cycling gear with their logo on it for a discount. Always made more sense to me than paying extra for it (or, in the case of luxury brands, a lot extra).

I recognize that pattern.

I literally cannot take adblocker off even wanting to contribute to revenue I like because there is no ad service that isn’t garbage. It is basically impossible to browse Chrome on my phone, I have Safari with an adblocker to make it reasonable.

Yet.

Sooner or later someone will put a strobe in a pants label.

A lot of times the ads slow the website down until its nearly useless.

Sometimes I get offensive ads.

In either case, I block the ads.

True. But also. Why was this garment even made? It’s a waste of pricy leather.
