Isn’t Latveria part of NATO now?

Dr. Doom should be one of our strongest allies against Putin at this point.

Agreed.

For the sake of argument, let’s assume salaries are fairly negotiated based on the skill and knowledge required to do a job, the danger of the job, and its difficulty.

Anaesthesiologists earn about $112/hr, which is about as high as a salaried profession goes. These are people who need years of training and practice, in order to make sure that patients are rendered unable to either move or experience pain while being operated upon, and then wake up afterwards. If they get it wrong, the consequences are death, permanent disability, or severe mental and emotional trauma to their patients. That’s a pretty fair standard for a job that deserves to be at the upper end of the salary curve.

In order to earn a billion dollars, an anaesthesiologist would need to work 100-hour weeks for over 1,750 years. At a more reasonable, 40-hour work week, it would take them almost 4,300 years.

It is literally impossible for any person to do enough work, at a wage appropriate to the work being performed, to earn a billion dollars in a human lifetime.

True.

I was simply mimicking the tone of the thread though. So much irrational justification from the trolls.

Hard centrism accepts hundred-year-old ideas of communitarian oppression and believes that oppression by the ignorant rich just needs to be bolstered by social obligation and humanized with “adjustments” to the taxes of skilled workers.

The relationships between super-managers and “their” IP. And by “their” I mean something they neither possess nor can realistically use except to restrict others’ possession and use. And by their relationships I mean a deeply corrupt culture of theft.
