Apologies for the Instagram link, but I don’t think this is posted anywhere else. Anywho . . . it’s not technically a cover, I guess. Just a different drum beat played over a slowed down version of the original. It’s pretty wild, though.

I can’t say that this cover is particularly marvelous, but it is marvelous that it exists. Apparently the Lawrence Welk Show had no clue what the song was about. It mentioned Jesus and sounded like a spiritual, so off they went!
