Aw man… that seriously sucks. I’m so sorry for your loss. He sounds like he was cool dude and a talented guy.
I’m so sorry.
I’m so sorry for the loss of your friend.
I’ll take “obscure person who actually did stuff and meant something to people who knew them” over “person who is famous for being famous” on any day.
Sorry for your loss.
Fuck cancer
I’m with @FGD135 on this. Whether or not your friend James was widely known isn’t important; what’s important is that he sounds like the kind of friend anyone would be fortunate to know. Although I’m saddened by the reason, I’m glad to have the opportunity to know that he existed and brightened the life of everyone he knew.
I’m so sorry for your loss, and thank you for allowing us to meet James.
Not just for celebrities – for anybody who is gone that will be missed. I am sorry for your loss of your friend. He seems like he was a real one. I hope you and those that knew him can at least have some measure of comfort in having had him in your lives as a force for good.

I wish I had stopped after the first or second paragraph!
I have heard a fair amount of stories about her which don’t make me want to meet her…
Still love that first album.
I’d rather not give the Mirror the click it seems so desperate to get, just to find out who that is…
The URL gives it away as Peter Henry Schroeder.
Here’s a different link…
He played the Kilngon Chancellor in Star Trek:Enterprise premier episode…
I was trying to find a good source but most of the ones I found were from publications I didn’t like. I gave up and picked a random one, looks like I still picked a bad one
Gary and I both
A friend of a friend roomed w/her in London and said she wished she hadn’t.
Another friend of a friend roomed with madge (madonna) when they attended the University of Michigan, and said she wished she hadn’t.
I bet Kate Bush, though, was a lovely roomie.
I dunno. All those scarves and diaphanous garments all over the place…and the shower singing might not’ve been to everyone’s taste.
