What do you think Missouri is? Some kind of DEMOCRACY? /s

They tried so hard to keep it off the ballot, and then a lot of money was spent telling outright lies about what the amendment did, and we voted for it anyway. If you can’t win, cheat, I guess.

Once again, they have no interest in representing, only in ruling. And serfs don’t get a vote.

Here’s what frustrating to me. This has happened multiple times now in Missouri. We’ve voted down right to work laws two or three times in state wide referenda, but the state legislature keeps trying to find a way to push that through. Then this happens with abortion rights, and at the same election, Missouri voted in mandatory sick leave. And the legislature is trying to undo that as well. So the people keep voting for clearly progressive things. And the legislature keeps trying to undo those progressive things. But the people keep voting for Republicans, who are the people who keep undoing what the people want. I don’t get it.

That’s US politics distilled. If people voted for policies, there would hardly be any Republicans in office. Heck, in 2020, the Republican Party didn’t even have a platform.

Yep, you really did. I’m sorry that so many people like yourself who was putting these outcomes together and trying to get people to pay attention just got ignored. It’s so infuriating.
