I recently re-watched the original Toxic Avenger. It stands up!
It is a fuckin’ genius low-budget masterpiece!
I love pictures like that.
We used to hang out in Toronto in the before times, there was an elevated walkway near city hall that over looked a busy intersection.
We would hang out there at night with my Nikon and a tripod for long exposure photos.
I miss that.
For the eclipse I bought a nice tripod for my phone, I should try some long exposures the next time we’re in Downtown Detroit at night.
Nice pictures.
What type of camera are you using?
First one is the Christmas Market in the Distillery District, next one is from atop the CN Tower, the last one is near City Hall on an elevated walkway.
All with a Nikon D90
Thank you. Muito obrigado.
These days I am using my cellphone. I dont carry a tripod with me, so I have to look for a flat, stable surface or just hold my breath as I take these pictures. I also have a DSLR, but I don’t like taking pictures with my EOS 60D because It draws a lot of attention to itself.
Muito bonitas. Very beautiful photos. Parabéns.
Those are beautiful!
I must be in a strange mindset today; my first thought on seeing the lefthand image was “Gee, the floor really is lava!”… I have no idea where that came from.
The streets in this picture looks like molten steel thanks the long exposure and the âmbar public lights.

Thanks you!

Context added.
Ms. Shiv and I are on two back-to-back trips (previously northwest USA, currently Berlin/Naples/Dublin [yes I know it’s an odd itinerary, but we had reasons]) and I have lots of interesting photos, but I’m trying to avoid Facebook-style / touron travel pics, so I’ve purposefully left them vague. Glad to ID locations since you’re interested, though.
