So who do we elect this year?

FTFY.

Isn’t he the guy who kept interrupting other people’s Grammy speeches?

Didn’t we learn from Reagan? NO more ex-entertainers with questionable values and rich people backing them as POTUS!

Imma let you finish, but… Kanye had the most-memed drunken MTV Music Awards interruption of all time! Complete with an all-caps non-apology “apology” that was subsequently deleted and all.

God, I hope he doesn’t rope people into casting votes for him instead of against Trump.

I hope someone in his life gets him the help he very clearly needs.

And also that he only steals votes from Trump.

Yes, that’s what I remember. Gosh, the stuff I get right only because it sticks in the sieve of my mind. Maybe my sieve needs the holes enlarged.

No it doesn’t. You are much better off as you are. Believe me.

No, because in 2016 we elected a reality TV star as president… This is what happens when people ignore history, unfortunately… or rather when some willfully distort it for political gain.

I beg to differ. After all, how did even GET the TV gig? By being a big-mouthed, flashy, allegedly shrewd businessman. Being a so-called TV star came late in the game for him. Reagan, however, started as a sports broadcaster and went into acting.

Of course, they were both hiding deprived childhoods, and were/are performers to cover that up. And Reagan, as crude as he could be in private, at least understood that he couldn’t be crude in public.

Just his presence — albeit virtually, due to the pandemic, from his home in Delaware — was rather historic for Muslim leaders, who can’t recall another presidential nominee speaking directly to such a large group of Muslims. The group, Emgage Action, says 3,000 people RSVP’d for its livestreamed event.

Biden didn’t introduce any new policy priorities, but his tone marked a noticeable departure from how many politicians have addressed Muslims in recent years.

I don’t know what to do. Trump needs to go, but any power wielded by the Democratic party is illegitimate as it does not represent the will of the voters.

i know everyone seems to be on board with Kamala, and i know she’d be great, but i really like Duckworth and what an amazing candidate she would be. she speaks to so many groups. I personally want Kamala for AG or something, but i understand why she’s considered Biden’s top contender right now.

I agree. I’m not interested in another prosecutor in the White House. Duckworth holds a lot of positions I don’t agree with, but I respect her a lot personally.

I also remember watching Republican male senators block her from accessing the wheelchair ramp on the senate floor after McCain’s famous No vote on the ACA repeal. She must be made of steel.
