Given what Zeus (Jupiter) did to Cronus (Saturn), I can understand your worry.

Well saturn wasn’t particularly nice to uranus.

To be fair, Uranus was kind of an asshole.

Coincidentally, I’m reading 2312. The moon and its alien life figure.

Oh, I dunno :sunglasses: I guess you’ll just have to send a probe and find out :kissing_smiling_eyes:

Oh, come off it.

If you’re on this board, you’re obviously never going to have any life.

Well, apparently there’s plenty of spots there to go around…

at least those look normal – not like saturn’s beyond crazy hexagonal ones!

They seem to be arranged in an octagonal pattern rather then hexagonal, probably due to many of the conditions being different from Saturn’s. Wind speed, gravity, density, maybe diameter all come into play. Cool!

Apparently the β€œHumanity Star” isn’t going to be a concern for much longer.

I feel like the idea behind it was decent, but it wasn’t very well thought out if they actually forgot to account for both mass and surface area. (and other issues, but really, orbital basics should at least be covered)

β€œI’m guessing that the forecast was based on a regular sized satellite, and an object that is essentially a balloon will feel a lot more drag, more than the regular satellites that are sent up, (which resemble) a hunk of metal,”

This is, of course, what SpaceX was saying-without-saying all along.
