At first, I wondered what he was most at. most successful? most hateful? most bald?. But then I decided it must be a typo, and it was actually supposed to be moist, as in America’s moist necromancer.
I second the Sinners recommendation. That is the best movie I have seen in a very long time.
Has anyone ever compared the actions of the Trump II administration with what is written in the infamous Project 2025 and seen how much of this document has already become reality?
It’s on my list for this week. Looking forward to it.
I’m pretty sure this was posted here before, but we’re nearly out of posts in this thread anyway, so you can be forgiven for missing it.
I don’t go to the theater much any more, so when I do it means I’m actively supporting the makers. I plan to see Sinners in theaters at least twice more, though I am willing to wait until the IMAX near me is no longer sold out.
Also, I highly recommend Freaky Tales, a much smaller budget production.
Yeah, the fact that Sinners was written and directed by Ryan Coogler was all I needed to hear. I hadn’t even watched a trailer. I literally didn’t know what the movie was even about. Has he missed with a movie yet? I haven’t seen Fruitvale Station. I should watch that.
It’s very good, but a tough watch…
Have you considered, instead, watching a film* based on an amusement park ride?

Nor have I, and I’m not sure I ever will be ready to.
Too close for comfort.
And hacked again
Ooooh! Housou Marine merch! I’d break out the riotin’ pitchforks and torches too!
