That definitely works. Very, very bargain bin. That guy can’t drink oceans of wine and wodku, eat enough for 12 men, fight nor fuck well, and he’s certainly no healer.

I bet he can’t dance for shit, neither.

Honestly, this is just the normal process. It sucks because everything is moving so fast, and the system isn’t really designed to cope with that. And the media doesn’t help when they don’t report court decisions or orders accurately, which they almost never do.
For this case, no court has issued a ruling on the merits of the case yet. The district court issued a temporary restraining order, which they will do when (a) they think it’s likely the nonmoving party will lose on the merits and (b) allowing the law/action/whatever to remain in place until a ruling on the merits will cause damage to the moving party. So that’s what the district court found here. But the party that’s bound by the TRO has a right to appeal that order, which the Trump administration has done. And when that happens, the appellate court will stay the TRO until they hear arguments on the TRO. Again, that appeal, when they hear arguments (which I think is Monday?) won’t be about the merits of the case, but only on the appropriateness of the TRO. So the merits of the case will come up, but the appeals court won’t rule on that, only on the TRO. But all this back and fourth – a district court blocking Trump, an appeals court staying that block, then the appeals court reinstating it, and so on and so on – is all very normal and part of the process of the federal courts. Unfortunately, every step of the way, the media reports this shit as “Trump loses in court!” and “Appeals court sides with Trump!” when none of that is what’s happening. The sausage is in the process of getting made, and the media is telling everyone the sausage is done.
This. For the most part, “farmers” in the US means “big agribusiness.” Even when actual farmers own their land, they are entirely dependent on mega corporations and are up to their ears in debt. And on top of that, the land was stolen.
I never heard of that before. Sounds like a really bad idea.
Okay… Thanks for that context!
Yeah, they do have a problem with that, don’t they?
Many Black farming communities and families have less debt, due to racist lending practices. If they’re able to sell locally and avoid Big Agribusiness, they’re in a better position to keep their land.
One health expert called the document “willful medical disinformation” about the safety of COVID vaccines for children and pregnant women.
“It is so far out of left field that I find it insulting to our members of Congress that they would actually give them something like this. Congress members are relying on these agencies to provide them with valid information, and it’s just not there,” said Dr. Mark Turrentine, a professor of obstetrics and gynecology at Baylor College of Medicine.
No, it makes perfect sense. There are no facts or studies to support the bullshit he is spewing, so how does one square this circle? You make shit up and call it objective fact. That is it in a nutshell.
He used the royal we to insist that he’s not a king. Wow.
You can’t make this shit up.
We are not a king. We are the state. After me the flood.
““We’re speaking with some of the growers and they’re telling us at least 40% of the workforce didn’t show up for work,” Lopez said.
People in Camarillo say everyone in the farm industry is now on edge. They wonder what the future will be in these fields if this uncertainty goes on.”
Who needs food?
But but, didn’t Tramp say just yesterday that he’s going to leave the poor farmers alone (because he suddenly thinks THAT form of “alien” labor is important)?
The logical thing for the US to do was deny any involvement in the attack on Iran, which makes it harder for Iran to build a case for retaliating against the US. It looks like that was the direction they were heading until president dipshit decided to personally taunt Iran on social media.
One of the “justifications” for the attack on Sen. Padilla was that he was “disrespectful.”
If it was illegal to be disrespectful, MTG would have been slingshot into the sun by now.
