This is literally insane. Does he really not know how many people have to work holidays? Noooo clue. I mean Christmas frigginâ day you can buy groceries. Work in the tourism industry? Goodbye july 4, memorial and labor days, etc, on and on. Not to mentions gas stations and convenience stores that are open 365 days a year.
He wants a world where the only people who get leisure are the rich and powerful. The rest of us need to be endlessly working to enrich them. He believes this to be the proper order of the world.
The proper place for him is where his carcass can enrich the flowers. Câmon cardiac arrest!

All lies!!
Trump isnât âpudgy.â Not like he used to be. I think heâs wasting away.
Chefâs kiss. Nailed Dump, nailed Melania, and nailed Pete Hegseth.
Still looking for the âsatireâ bit; I was expecting it after the factual reporting. Am I missing something?
I think the satire is North Koreaâs report on it would be the honest take. Western media are finding ways of not quite putting their fingers in what is going on. And the US media? Well Freeze Peach! Is the frozenest of peaches.
I donât think they understand empower.
Women make up nearly two-thirds of all service workers in the United States. Theyâre the backbone of our daily lives-serving meals, styling hair, cleaning hotel rooms, pouring coffee-all while juggling second jobs, night classes, or children on their hips.
These women arenât cashing in their stock options. They are relying on tips to survive, yet the federal government is taxing their hard-earned money.
You ainât see me ⌠right!
Worth every one of the 75 seconds it takes to watch that. Includes gems like this:

Thank you! Apparently, according to SCOTUS, as long as Congress approves funding for military actions, that satisfies the Constitutional requirement that only Congress can declare war. It drives me nuts that in other areas, SCOTUS is like âBut it says xxxxx in plain language! You canât just pretend it means something else!â But here, theyâre like âOh no, thatâs fine. You donât actually have to âdeclareâ war in order to declare war. Youâre good!â
Goddammit
There are 11 federal holidays as others here have pointed out, no employer is mandated to give their employees those days off, and most do not give them all 11. They also arenât required to pay them for those days off. I toured a fiberglass factory in my hometown years ago. It runs 24/7/365 because if they ever shut the furnaces off, it takes days (maybe weeks, I donât remember) to get them back up and running. There was a massive tornado that hit the town in 1979. That factory didnât shut down even then, and they even suffered some damage from the storm. Holidays arenât costing American businesses millions, much less billions. Trumpâs golf outings, on the other hand, are costing American taxpayers millions.
