The goddamn Trump Administration (Part 2)

That is insane. Even for Trump.

has anyone even heard a peep from Rosie this term?
why all of a sudden bring her into the spotlight?
i realize he is a petty, stupid and insecure man, but this is trickling up from leftover shame and hatred.

Did the republican pig-pile that is congress pass a law allowing presidents to revoke citizenships when i was in a cloud of depression? or is this just yet more trumpy “a president can do anything they want” nonsense?

(so very weary… trumptastic day # 173 Until no_trump: 1288 days, roughly 42.3 months, 88.2% remains. 479 days until mid-terms @#$!!)

The GOP-led Congress can try to add that law, but it wouldn’t be Constitutional.* Congress would need to actually amend the Constitution to give POTUS the power to do this.

(*That is, a pre-2025 SCOTUS would have definitely ruled it unconstitutional.)

SCOTUS will decide that under originalism; queer people weren’t considered people.

I was wondering the same thing. Like what? Who was even talking about Rosie O’Donnell? Also he can’t even think of something she did to name himself. Just rosie o’donnell isn’t in the interests of our “great nation.”

I guess you can be deported for not clapping hard enough for Nero now?

From the article Kathy linked above:

O’Donnell has continued to be critical of Trump on TikTok and other social media, posting earlier this week that Trump “has put this country in danger” with his “horrible decisions.” She said that the cuts to the National Weather Service to the deaths in the flash floods in Texas. “These are the results that we are going to see on a daily basis,” she said.

We likely haven’t heard about it because she doesn’t get much press anymore and because the media downplays criticism of the rapist felon.

She moved to Ireland with her kid earlier this year because of where the country is going under Trump. Her father is from there; so she should be able to get citizenship.

Ah I see. Yeah gutting the services we all depend on in an emergency in this country was a bad look for him and will be for this and all the future natural disasters we’ll suffer through. Better kill the messenger.

Similar to how he just called a reporter evil for asking a question about how cuts to government early warning systems could result in similar disasters in the future.

He knows this is his Willy Horton moment. As will every mass casualty weather event until funding is restored to those agencies. He is really unhappy to have this pinned on him and his big, beautiful bill.

Unfortunately he’s not religious, else he’d know about Saint Babs and how these outbursts are only making it worse.

He wants to be adored yet does everything in his power to he reviled.

It was a minor news story around March that she was moving to Ireland because she no longer felt safe in the US.

Having solved all of America’s other problems, it’s time for Trump to air his small and petty grievances against individuals he doesn’t like.

He still hasn’t realized that what worked for him before (cult-centric decisions and outbursts) ain’t working lately.
