The GOP-led Congress can try to add that law, but it wouldnât be Constitutional.* Congress would need to actually amend the Constitution to give POTUS the power to do this.
(*That is, a pre-2025 SCOTUS would have definitely ruled it unconstitutional.)

She moved to Ireland with her kid earlier this year because of where the country is going under Trump. Her father is from there; so she should be able to get citizenship.

Similar to how he just called a reporter evil for asking a question about how cuts to government early warning systems could result in similar disasters in the future.
He knows this is his Willy Horton moment. As will every mass casualty weather event until funding is restored to those agencies. He is really unhappy to have this pinned on him and his big, beautiful bill.
Unfortunately heâs not religious, else heâd know about Saint Babs and how these outbursts are only making it worse.
He wants to be adored yet does everything in his power to he reviled.

It was a minor news story around March that she was moving to Ireland because she no longer felt safe in the US.
