I assume the social media accounts (it was also on Instagram) are run by some teenage intern, and everyone just leaves them to it, because “it doesn’t matter.” Which, to be fair, is the whole MAGA approach to facts anyways, so…
What baffles me is that anyone looked at it and thought it was anything but mockery of Trump and his plans. I’m also baffled as to where the image came from - it’s referencing a “Daily Signal” conservative news post, but they don’t use that graphic, and the article is totally idiotic ass-kissing*, so it seems unlikely they came up with it.
*It claims that fuel efficiency standards destroyed the American automobile industry, and now the US automakers, thanks to Trump and his tariffs, can make whatever kind of car that they want. Which is laughable on so many levels. (In any other context I would have assumed it was parody, making it a good match with the image, come to think of it…)
