The statute of limitations on the FCPA is 5 years, so you’re exactly right. In a hypothetical future Democratic administration in 2029, it would be highly likely that the DOJ would track down and prosecute violations of the FCPA committed during T****’s term. It’s been discussed in a number of companies whether to discontinue FCPA training, and only idiots and morons think that’s a good idea.
