First, Elon’s geek goons are not the sharpest tools in the shed when it comes to being complete human beings, but they can probably code pretty well.
Second, I would be surprised if one of those goons, being incomplete human beings, hadn’t already bragged about their role while using their payoff to buy the proverbial hookers and blow, if this were true.
Third, the whole theory falls apart in the last 2 sentences. So what if Elno cheated to get T**** elected? What does the author think “Boom” means? Because Elno could provide a detailed account every intricate step of the subversion of the vote counts, with multiple, redundant evidence, and it wouldn’t actually change anything. The only way to remove T**** would be impeachment, and this Congress isn’t going to do that. T**** could take each Republican member of Congress’ families and execute them, one by one, right in front of the Capitol, and they still wouldn’t impeach him.
There’s no Boom. There’s just us, all of us, resisting and helping each other through, every day.
There was a day that a Boom could have happened. It passed uneventfully in December 2024. Now we have to do the hard work.

Object persistence is not a thing in the Tesla cars. They’ll need to do better for air traffic control; much better. They’ll need to write the most bullet proof, tested, flawless code of their lives.
They think they are going to slap this into a chat bot and get a magic air traffic control app back.
Given what we’ve seen so far from Musk’s crowd (web servers slapped up with exposed databases, puking classified docs into the ether), the train will probably be your best choice over the coming few years.
I can see new boast among commercial pilots: "I landed under VFR at LAX on Thanksgiving Day weekend."

This is interesting. The White House, in a legal filing in response to a lawsuit from the state of New Mexico that alleges that DOGE is unconstitutional, is saying that Musk is merely a senior White House advisor, and has no decision making authority. “Who are you going to believe? Me, or your lying eyes!”

People are stupid. But…
They get sick of being shamed for it.
Often people resent having to work or think at all simply because it is taxing while leisure time is scant, and life is mean. 24 hours split 3 ways etc.
People are stupid and angry and mean and they like entertainment and easy “wins.” More than anything they hate being asked to be anything better than that. They like answers that make sense and don’t like questions that confuse them about why that makes sense or whether it should.

I think you are right about this, and that it is about being overwhelmed and lazy and looking for answers that make them feel good and require no thought on their part. I just don’t accept that this is acceptable. Living in a democracy is not easy. Living in a dictatorship is easy, you just mindlessly obey and hope the eye of Sauron doesn’t fix on you. So how do we get around that? Because I don’t have any answers.
