It’s a good idea! Thank you!
Wow. Basically anything not white is removed. I’m not shocked but still…wow.
The next four years are going to be exhausting.
Sorry about the link.
So now they want to apply his executive order nonsense to private companies.
They’re not as serious about freedum as they say.
Be good if everyone would stop pulling out the trampoline every time he sends out a “Truth” or some dumb EO.
Another friend on another platform also received one. They are both canny enough to distrust the emails.
I forwarded that message from blue sky to both of them. If twitter called messages tweets, what does blue sky call messages? Clouds?
Skeets
They’re just making shit up.
Yup:
But Karoline Leavitt, the White House spokeswoman, told reporters that the move simply meant a recession of the memo.
She said efforts to “end the egregious waste of federal funding” will continue. She said the OMB memo has been rescinded “to end any confusion on federal policy created by the court ruling and the dishonest media coverage.” The administration expects that rescinding the memo will end the court case against it.
and surely not: bleets ?
ok, some vague trumpy content for this trumpy subdir: i have a theory, based upon not nearly enough, that the special flavor of chaos that’s currently exuding from trump-town currently is partly due to an internecine contest between “Project 2025” (Heritage Foundation) and the techbros:musk/thiel/vance. One of those wants economic control for all rich white male bastards, the latter wants total control for five, possibly, six white male bastards. The former is willing to allow the “U.S.” to continue to some degree, the latter not really at all. Only one thing is certain: either wins, we lose. look for some sign of how it’s going if musk wanders away to do some mischief elsewhere in about a month or stays glued to trump.
@#$!sigh@#$
I expect that their expectations will be shattered.
Fucking poor attempt at Calvinball.
And then flooding the zone with tons of it.
Certainly is working as intended, eh? What with both Dems and the corporate media on their back heels trying to understand and respond to at least some of it.
Hmmm. Maybe. Or it’s just one of a hundred or so attempts to blow us all off our keels.
Good luck with that. I’m sure Costco will find something useful to do with the damages they collect from these spurious lawsuit.
Looks like we’ve got the archivists and librarians on our side - again, natch.
Oh, I’ll admit that I’m not that fond of it, but mostly because I think it’s far too restricted; I want to see free universal healthcare. It’s still a hell of a lot better than the lack of medical options many people had before it.
But the affordable care act is private insurance.
We get a subsidy so we can afford a private policy.
Without that subsidy we have no insurance but even with the subsidy we still have about 12 grand in out of pocket expenses before a lot of the policy kicks in.
The last thing I need is going back to preexisting conditions bs.
