I yelled at my son after I told him about something stupid that the t.admin did (don’t expect me to remember which one, lol), and he asked me why was I telling him about it.
I then told him that we’re in this mess partly from people staying home…the folks who don’t trust any sort of politician in any way at all, of which he is one, and from people who are purposely made ignorant about this issues. I had told him previously that I wished he would at least in local elections.
Now, I’m converted from thinking voting sucks but i have to do it anyhow even if it won’t help, except in local elections into VOTEVOTEVOTE like a baby STOATSTOATSTOAT! So I got miffed and told him that things are not gonna change unless people go into action and DO something. And earlier in the week, I gave him the ol’ “they came for () and I did nothing…” speech.
He’s bi and disabled and not a jock, but he’s not a fuckin’ idiot techboy incel either (tho he is a virgin - don’t tell him I told! - but he doesn’t blame women for it, I do know that); why he can’t get that being white and male isn’t a guarantee of safety any more?
