He definitely is. He’s just as interested in making Project 2025 a reality as Vance/Miller and so on. I don’t think that he would be so brazen about breaking the law, though, which might be appealing to some GOP members of Congress. And the more quickly the brakes are applied on Trump and Musk driving us off a cliff, the more lives will be saved. It sucks, but it’s something.

I know. I’m not endorsing him or his politics. I’m wondering what message I might be able to send to my GOP congressman that could carry some weight and make things generally less bad right now. I can’t threaten to pull my vote, because I would never vote for him. He’s not a good person, and I can only count on him to act in self-preservation for his position.
I don’t mean that the fight for your right to exist should be put off for another day. Anti-trans policies need to be fought and beaten, and transphobic representatives in government need to be removed completely. That’s a message that I need to send to my senator. I have some hope she will listen.

maybe it’s Yeah, wow, that’s great. If only we had an opposition party to try to prevent the atrocities the Republicans are so quickly bringing us.
