Couldn’t they also suffer from a “run,” while also NOT being insured by anything like the FDIC?
I’ve been thinking about a switch, but I don’t know much about how credit unions are better than banks.

The NCUA insures credit union deposits, and I have not heard anything about it being targeted. Maybe too small to draw notice, which is fine with me.

I think it’s best to have different whole banks for different things divided by how much you have and how long you plan to live off of it if you can at all, and when.
There are reasons each type of bank might face a problem with this much chaos and corruption.

Has anyone else noticed how absent Comrade Krasnov’s kids have been? Ivanka was trying to distance herself from him, but Don Jr. and Fredo were his biggest cheerleaders, but they’ve been strangely silent and out of public view. Maybe the Muskrat isn’t just the First Buddy, but now the favoured “son”.

They are insured by a similar agency.
They have been much more stable through other economic crises. During that last big round of bank failures- I think only one credit union went under. Tons of banks did.
