I watched 7 minutes of it, the shoutiest part I gather.
Tramp saying repeatedly, “You gotta be thankful! You gotta be thankful!” and “You’re not in a good position now, you don’t have good cards right now!” was disgusting.

Fox is speculating Zelensky will go to Mar a Lago today or tomorrow to make the deal.
The statement below suggests otherwise.
But what authority does the US have to sign a peace deal for Ukraine, for the life of me I don’t understand how we’re involved, especially with the mineral deal.
So what if Ukraine gives us all their minerals, how does that get Putin to end the war?

One thing the Tramp Administration may have gotten out of that shouting match was a (supposed) bolstering of the claim that Zelenskyy is being “unreasonable.” Look how much we’re offering this guy, who’s in a very bad position right now. No wonder his country is losing the war, and is going to lose the war.

My blood pressure is reaching dangerous new highs watching even tiny bits of the grotesque insults of Trump and Vance against Zelensky and Ukraine. (The only thing that helps is fantasies involving Trump, Vance and the use of a very a sturdy hammer.) I have to hope that whatever happens, whatever Zelensky signs, he has no intention of honoring, because Trump sure as hell doesn’t. (But it really seems like nothing’s going to be signed - his whole point may have been to expose how hostile Trump and Vance were, on the global stage.)
After Zelensky made a point of thanking the entire country, and its people. But as pointed out, it not only doesn’t count to Trump, it enrages him, because he thinks only he should be thanked.
Who think people should thank them for being extorted.
Obviously it doesn’t, but I’m really unclear if Ukraine gets anything out of this deal. Continued access to buying American weapons? Continued American “goodwill” (i.e. nothing) with the potential for future aid? Not having the US actively aid Russia in fucking over Ukraine?
