The goddamn Trump Administration

The difference is, Nero was probably right, and some apocalyptic Christian cult did start the fire, whereas Trump’s lies exist to both deny the actual, inconvenient cause (climate change) and demonize his political opponents who happen to be seeking solutions to it.

But…people are animals. Is he saying that MAGA isn’t made of people?

I know that he’s trying to dehumanize BLM. He’s really f*ing stupid, though. And a treasonous piece of shit, just like everyone else who attacked the Capitol in 2021.

Except for the unfortunate person that has to clean that mess up…

Wait, is he trying to claim that the LA fires are a protest to his election? I mean, i know he sees everything about himself, but damn, that’s out there.

Whose theory is this? I’ve never heard it before, just that ancient cities were actually fires waiting to happen. Sources like Tacitus don’t mention it and he despises Christians…of course he despises Nero more, but I’m not sure how many pro-Nero sources there would be to draw from.

The fact that this had to be set up to respond to a lot of his lies is sad.

Also, my gosh, some the lies are so outlandish it’s absurd.

Christians were a doomsday cult, trying to hasten the end of the world.

Pretty sure she missed the point.

She’s down in Maralago complaining about DEI and then posts this photo.

The right/white kind of DEI.

Whose theory is this? Christians originally thought the messiah was going to return very soon, which is actually at odds with thinking you need to do something to make it happen. There’s a lot I don’t know about the early church – I’ve often wondered when they became ok with killing people like you clearly see by Constantine’s time – which is why I’m asking for references. But giving up on Christ coming back to the point where you’re willing to torch cities seems like quite a change for the first thirty years.

Let’s not actually do anything in Congress.

She’s an idiot because the mayor of Los Angeles was elected by the voters—she wasn’t a DEI “hire.” By her reasoning, she’s a DEI Congressional Representative.

Yeah, white people gotta blame everyone except themselves for their own mediocrity.

betcha if someone shows this to trump it’ll be a combination of “Told you about this!” (he didn’t) and “It must be drilled (baby drill) and piped to California” -sigh-

Scientists Discover a Massive Underground Water Vault in Oregon – 3x the Size of Lake Mead

By University of OregonJanuary 13, 2025

Researchers have discovered an underground aquifer in Oregon’s Cascade Range that’s significantly larger than previously thought — three times the size of Lake Mead.

This vast water reserve holds potential for both resource management and volcanic activity insights, with water largely replenished by snowpack which is vulnerable to climate change impacts.

Unveiling a Hidden Water Treasure in Oregon’s Mountains

Oregon’s Cascade Range mountains may not contain gold, but they are home to another precious resource in abundance: water.

Researchers from the University of Oregon, along with their collaborators, have mapped the vast underground water reserves beneath the volcanic rocks at the crest of the central Oregon Cascades. They discovered an aquifer far larger than previously thought — holding at least 81 cubic kilometers (21 trillion gallons) of water.

America Inc is that sovereign citizen BS, right?

I had a good laugh at the thought of our first unelected President being Mike fricken Johnson. I don’t even have words to describe how worthless he would be, to pretty much everyone. And, if you think about it, that would be Matt Gates fault.

This is your moment of Zen.

  • FACT: Public Safety officials are actively investigating the fires for arson. No fire stemmed from a satanic ritual.

JFC it’s 1980s “satanic panic” all over again.

I can’t point to any one thing off the top of my head. I had to work from home this evening and have a headache. This just comes from everything I have learned about the early church in documentaries and books. I will have to see if I can find some good examples to point to exact details. Something about longing for the end times, and believing the downfall of Rome would bring that closer to happening. I’m not saying Christians started the fire, but they weren’t necessarily upset about it either.
